Terms and conditions for Grundfos Ecademy
1. Membership
1.1 Membership is open only to individuals who have been invited to participate by GRUNDFOS and to those who are employed or active in the relevant professional target groups as indicated by GRUNDFOS.
1.2 Membership in Grundfos Ecademy is registered in the member’s name and at his/her employer’s stated address. All mail, password and prizes etc. are sent directly to the member either at his/her company address or private address. A Grundfos Ecademy membership is personal to the holder. There can only be one membership per individual person.
1.3 GRUNDFOS reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate Grundfos Ecademy membership, and such termination can include forfeiture of points which have been earned but are unused, in case the membership is misused. Such misuse may e.g. consist of unruly or disrespectful behaviour toward GRUNDFOS or its partners or their employees. Termination will also follow as a result of wilful misuse or misrepresentation.
1.4 Signing up to Grundfos Ecademy is equivalent to accepting the Conditions of Membership in Grundfos Ecademy.
1.5 A password and information on the status of an account may be issued only to the Grundfos Ecademy member personally.
1.6 Membership is automatically terminated if the member un-subscribes from the Grundfos Ecademy eNewsletter.
2. Earning points
2.1 Members can earn points by passing training modules and on other activities which Grundfos may initiate.
2.2 A Grundfos Ecademy member earns points on all training modules and other activities from the date the membership number was registered for the first activity.
2.3 Points cannot be sold, inherited, transferred or exchanged for cash. Two or more members cannot combine their points, e.g. in order to reach the threshold for a prize.
2.4 A Grundfos Ecademy member can start to exchange points for prizes as soon as he/she has earned the minimum number of points required to buy a prize.
2.5 If no points are earned over a continuous period of 12 months, GRUNDFOS reserves the right to terminate membership.
3. Exchanging points
3.1 Points can only be exchanged by the member who earned the points.
3.2 Points may be used only as payment for prizes issued by GRUNDFOS.
3.3 The number of prizes available for points is strictly limited and is dependent on availability at the time of ordering.
3.4 Fiscal considerations may apply to the use of benefits and awards within the frame-work of loyalty programmes offered by GRUNDFOS. GRUNDFOS disclaims any liability whatsoever with respect to taxes or tax obligations imposed on the member in this regard.
4. General
4.1 By signing up to the Grundfos Ecademy programme, the member gives consent to GRUNDFOS for processing personal data about the member and the member's activities within the Grundfos Ecademy programme for the purposes of administrating the Grundfos Ecademy programme and points, controlling and implementing orders, coordinating activities and special offerings within GRUNDFOS .
4.2 From time to time GRUNDFOS may make available to Grundfos Ecademy members certain special offers, which have a limited validity period or are restricted to specific members.
4.3 The content of the Grundfos Ecademy program, membership conditions, membership benefits, points, rules and other information are valid until further notice. GRUNDFOS reserves the right to give 14 days notice of termination of the Grundfos Ecademy programme or changes to the rules. Information concerning changes to the rules will be provided by GRUNDFOS on this web site.
4.4 GRUNDFOS will confidentially retain the information you have submitted together with records relating to your activity.
5. Disclaimer
Grundfos provides the Grundfos Ecademy programme as is. While we have attempted to maintain the information in the Grundfos Ecademy programme, the software and any other services as accurately as possible, the Grundfos Ecademy program may contains errors or omissions for which we disclaim any and all liability. Grundfos is not responsible for any loss caused by the use of the Grundfos Ecademy program.
6. Procedure for disputes
6.1 In the event of any dispute regarding the rules governing Grundfos Ecademy, members should contact GRUNDFOS.
6.2 Any dispute arising from the use of the Grundfos Ecademy, affiliated site or the interpretation of the terms herein is governed by the laws of Denmark, and shall be settled by the courts of Denmark. If one or several of the laws applicable to these conditions might at a later date be interpreted or changed to the effect that one or several of the clauses become ineffective or invalid such shall not entail the invalidity the conditions as such.
